3 weeks agoBeautiful, but do NOT come here if there’s any chance of a storm. There was a few landslides around us when we got stuck in here in the rain, and some flooding. Had to stake it out for an hour or so until the weather calmed down. But it’s a beautiful place, and I highly recommend dipping in the purification pool. The pool was my favorite part of this place and it’s included in the entrance fee.

a month agoIt was not a good weather when I visited the falls. The water is muddy and the stairs is little bit slippery however the falls still stunning and beautiful. There’s a stairs going down but I preferred not to take that stairs and stay on its welcome sign. Note: no dress code , just wear clothes that you are comfortable with If you gonna visit the falls during peak season, better to buy a ticket in advance.

2 weeks agoDo not miss this place! It's worth visiting! The price is 30K per person. We went here at 7.15 am and it was very quiet, no people at all. So I would highly recommend going before 8 am if you want to have the place to yourself and avoid the heat. Trust me, going up the stairs ain't easy in 32°C 🤣 Located at 15 mins from central Ubud by scooter in 7am traffic conditions. There are plenty of photo spots along the way down towards the waterfall, so take your time and enjoy! Attention, swimming is NOT allowed here (there was a sing posted there). There are plenty of shops that offer cold drinks but expect tourist attraction prices (e.g., 20K for 1.5 L of water - compared to local shops 8-10K). It's not a hassle, just mentioning it 🫡 Overall, go for it! You will like the experience!

2 months agoShort distance to the waterfall. Not too crowded. Nice view. Changing room is available. Recommended dipping in the water. There are two small pools to swim as well. Better than I expected.

3 weeks agoI wasn't so thrilled about the Waterfall. The scenery is very beautiful, but personally i wasn't that enthusiastic about it, mostly because I had limited time and there were maybe better alternatives for me. Objectively though, I don't think you can skip it. If the water was cleaner and you could easily swim, it would have been more fun for me. It does not cost much, but if you have limited time, make sure this is where you want to go. It will take 30min to go down, see it, take pics, and come back up, but the drove there is long.
